Bio
Simryn, a proud Canadian who loves the mountains and forests of her home country, grew up in her mother’s chocolate shops and grandfather’s Indian restaurant where she saw firsthand that absolutely everything is possible with hard work and perseverance. A life filled with bad dancing, good alcohol and lots of dark humour, she's travelled the world alone, volunteered in Kenya, India, Dominican, Cuba and Mexico, and even got her single engine aircraft pilot’s license. Holding a BA from Université Concordia in Montreal, an MA in Theatre from UCLA and another MFA in Screenwriting from NYFA, Simryn concentrates on half hour comedy and one hour dramas for television.
